The first assignment in EDLD 3505 was to create an Innovation Plan. It was first required to submit an outline so that the professor could review and ensure accuracy of what was being asked. I submitted my plan and received great feedback. It turns out that I was off-topic and needed to explore other options for my plan. I was able to schedule a meeting with the professor and it was beneficial for me. He was able to guide me in finding a topic that I could work on for my innovation plan. The conversation made me nervous and the professor said that that was the intention. Getting me to think about the program I currently work for and how to create some disruption in a positive manner.
